Now that you are familiar with the transcription symbols, the next step involves simply listening to a stretch of talk while reading the transcript. Try this a few times. If you find that you are facing some trouble with particular sounds or transcription symbols you can refer back to the glossary of sounds and symbols. The glossary can be accessed by clicking on a symbol (if it is red).
